A Zen Safari has two main objectives, firstly to experience nature as it presents itself to us and secondly, to reconnect at a deeper level other than pure scientific understanding and analysis.

Reconnecting to nature

By reconnecting to nature through our senses, we “bathe in the atmosphere” of the Savanna bushveld, we come to a greater understanding of our own true nature and our ecological self. Just by reconnecting we not only feel at peace, but we benefit psychologically and physically through ‘the natural therapy’ that nature provides.
Jaci's Sabi House

Jaci's Sabi House is an exclusive-use safari villa in the world renowned Sabi Sand Reserve, Mpumalanga, South Africa. Accommodating only 6 guests at a time on a sole use basis, for this Zen Safari.

When on game-drives and walks during a Zen Safari we allow nature to reveal itself and we observe and experience nature for what it is, with a better understanding and knowledge provided by a guide.
Excluded in the cost

Transfers to and from Jaci’s Sabi House, other than from Arathusa airstrip as listed above.

Escort after dark from the Reserve gates.

Gratuities and all incidental costs.

Emergency medical evacuation, travel insurance / travel cancellation refunds. We highly recommend that guests have sufficient travel and medical insurance to cover any unexpected incidents.

Sabi Sand Reserve entrance fees, which will be charged at Gowrie Gate. Currently R350 per vehicle and R160 per guest.* (6 guests = R960 + 350 = R1310)
